On Sat Oct 3rd, RVFC hosted a picnic for family, friends, and mutual aid departments. A great time was had by all. President Stettner and his planning brought to us a pig roast, tug-a-war, volleyball, horse shoes, live band, and a great time.

Along with many other departments in Hunterdon County the Readington Vol. Fire Co. participated in the Iron and Steel Run. Standing by on the overpass with the American Flag over the highway as the Iron and Steel came down Route 78.

The Readington VFC stood by as fire supression for the three day event. With crews available to the festival and our response area throughout the days. No incidents were reported. As the treat of tornado warning apporached late in the day on sunday.
